One-on-one sessions of active rehabilitation with a registered kinesiologist ensures that exercises prescribed are done safely and correctly. Can also provide ICBC or WorkSafe injury rehabilitation.

Amber Brown graduated with a Physiotherapy Master’s degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to that she attended the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) graduating with a degree in Biology. Born and raised in Chilliwack, Amber is extremely excited to be back in her hometown after completing school. Dr. Scott Curry is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Kinesiology (1999). He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Curry has worked with various national-level sport teams in swimming, wrestling, and track and field. Dr. Curry believes our bodies are incredibly resilient and adaptable, mirroring our daily physical demands. Dr. Curry enjoys working with people and helping them gain their maximal potential. Tammy Graham graduated from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster in 2010 and is excited to be working at Optimum. OJ graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley, with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, concentrating in Exercise Science. He is well recognized for his extensive volunteer work and leadership in the Fraser valley community. OJ is invested in numerous organized sports, having spent most of his life playing and working with local hockey, baseball, and rugby clubs. He brings a wide range of experience to the team; having experience as a lead trainer with AAA Mission Bantam hockey and lead trainer with the Men’s Div 1 & 2 teams at the Abbotsford Rugby and Football Club. OJ co-lead the “Game On” program as a big brother with B.B.B.S. Additionally, working as a behavior interventionist, specifically alongside children with Autism.

OJ is drawn to Kinesiology for his passion for physical and mental health, interest in sports injuries, athletic training, and dedication to health and social services. Dr. Magowan graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College following a Biochemistry degree from UBC. Brent has a broad clinical interest, though really enjoys the management and prevention of sport-related injuries. Brent is passionate about patient and public education, and has performed various lectures on topics ranging from injury prevention to workplace ergonomics. Kathy graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2005. Her clinical experience includes working at both the Lyndhurst Centre (Toronto) and G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre (Vancouver), where her clinical focus was on brain and spinal cord rehabilitation. Kathy has also worked extensively in the private clinic setting, with clinical interests in sports injury management, and neurological conditions. Dr. Cornelius van de Wall graduated with highest honours from the University of Western States with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. His practice is a combination of general chiropractic care focusing on spine pain, with special interests and advanced training in treating sports injuries, concussions, disc injuries, and nerve-related conditions. He has worked with athletes ranging from high school to Olympic levels, and loves to combine Chiropractic therapies with soft tissue treatment and exercise therapies.

Chris graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Prior to this, Chris was involved in researching and publishing rehabilitation guidelines while completing his Master of Science degree and studying human movement during his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in Canada.

Chris has worked in private practice, community care, and hospital-based settings with a wide variety of musculoskeletal, occupational, orthopedic, pediatric and sporting injuries. Additionally, he has worked in specialized clinics for hand rehabilitation and for Temporomandibular (TMJ) Disorders with a certification in the Goralsky Craniomandibular Method. He values empowering his clients to actively manage their conditions by using education, manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises. Chris continues to develop professionally having trained with GLA:D Australia, Neurokinetic Therapy, Functional Movement Systems, Clinical Pilates and Neuromuscular Dry Needling.
